What IS covered under a mobile device insurance plan?

Apple: Damaged digitizer, damaged LCD, damaged battery, damaged charging port, damaged front camera, damaged rear camera, damaged camera lenses. 

Samsung/Motorola: Damaged digitizer, damaged LCD, damaged battery, damaged charging port, Motorola: damaged front camera, damaged rear camera, damaged camera lenses, damaged backglass.

What IS NOT covered under a mobile device insurance plan?

Apple: Water damaged motherboards, broken backglasses, motherboard failure deemed irreparable, lost/stolen devices

Samsung/Motorola: Water damaged motherboards, motherboard failure deemed irreparable, Motorola: lost/stolen devices

HOW IS A DEVICE ASSOCIATED WITH AN INSURANCE PLAN?

When you sign up for a Jaydien Mobile Device insurance plan the monthly cost of the plan, cost of the repair deductible, device manufacturer name and model number, !MEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number & device serial number (SN) are recorded in our system and associated with that device’s specific plan. There is a one-to-one relationship between a device and a plan. Only one specific device can be associated with any single plan at one time.

HOW SOON CAN I FILE A CLAIM?

There is a 90 day grace period from the date of the insurance plan inception before a claim can be submitted.

HOW OFTEN CAN I SUBMIT A CLAIM?

Insurance claims are limited to 2 screen repairs/year per IMEI/SN, 2 battery replacement/year per IMEI/SN, 1 charging port replacement/year per IMEI/SN, 1 camera replacement/year per IMEI/SN, unlimited lens replacements. 

WHAT KIND OF REPAIR PARTS ARE USED?

All insurance repairs are performed using genuine OEM device parts and/or replacement insurance-grade device parts where OEM device parts are not feasible and/or applicable.

IS THERE ANY FINE PRINT?

Any and all motherboard failures are classified as irreparable by the standards of Jaydien technicians, NOT by independent technicians or device manufacturers. Insurance plans are associated with a device’s specific and unique IMEI/SN. Repairs performed under an insurance contract can only be performed on devices that match the specific !MEI/SN on file for that device/plan. Jaydien Network Solutions will NOT perform insurance plan repairs on ANY device(s) that are not specifically tied to an active Jaydien Insurance plan OR that has an incorrect IMEI/SN. IMEI/SNs MUST match what is on file for that device’s insurance plan. In the event a device is traded in or is upgrades to a different device with a different IEMI/SN, you must inform Jaydien Network Solutions within 48 hours of said change so that the IMEI/SN AND insurance cost can be adjusted, if required, and the insurance plan can be updated with the new IEMI/SN or the replacement device.
